soul, jazz, hip hop, and Latin and loosens up the dance floor. Reflecting the
underlying ethos "it's all about having a good time!" A combination
of a bit of graft, quality local talent and word of mouth has established the night
with an enduring reputation. Gold in the shade takes place the first Friday of every
month downstairs in the distinctive surroundings of The Magnet.
